The Discovery workshop is a comprehensive package that is great for anyone who wants to come learn about the world of clay. This class is designed for those who want to mark off their bucket list, try before committing to weekly classes, or just have something fun and memorable to do with their loved ones. The class will be in a private setting with only 4 max participants. This allows for more one-on-one time with the instructor and an in-depth teaching of throwing on the wheel. What's included: In the first class, we will be creating a bowl and mug/tumbler on the wheel. You will be learning (COPS) of throwing. Center, Open, Pulling, and shaping. The second class a week later will be learning how to trim everything the week prior. Customize your pieces whether it is chattering, carving, or attaching hand-build pieces. You will be taught how to pull a handle for your mugs. Learn how to slip and score all handbuild pieces Lastly, if time allows we will be making a hand build project. This can include making pieces to add to your throw items or separate pieces such as a pinch pot or dessert plate. For the best experience, it is recommended to have short nails. This package is non-refundable and dates can not be changed. Please feel free to gift your package to anyone you choose.
